The Greater Houston Society of Anesthesia Technologists and Technicians encourages education for it's members and assists by providing several educational conferences or workshops per year to ensure upkeep of the continuing education requirements.
GHSATT will continue its work with local community college and technical schools to bring formal education in the area by assisting to create an education program that can be approved by the American society of Anesthesia Technologists and Technicians.
Currently, there are few schools nationwide with approved programs in Anesthesia Technology.
